THANKS TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF CHILE AND EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
With the presence of representatives of eight municipalities in the region, was carried out in units of the Universidad Mayor, 1st Consulting Workshop "Design and implementations of a Model of Learning, Socialization and Stimulation of Municipal Management Practices for LED (Local Economic Development). "
To achieve realization of this project, SERCOTEC selected eight districts of the region highlighted by the work done in local economic development. These municipalities are Angol, Collipulli Melipeuco, Nueva Imperial Padre Las Casas, Pucón, Puerto Saavedra, and Temuco, which sent officials to design a system of learning, socialization and stimulation of Best Practices in Municipal Management. This will create a tool to support efficient and appropriate to the needs of municipalities and development incentive for the people of the communities participating in this project, thereby improving the quality of life of their communities. This initiative is done in every country for which we selected a total of 80 municipalities.
The "Best Practices in Municipal Management" is inserted in the agreement between the Government of Chile and the European Community, which provides a program to support the creation and development of innovative and strengthen the environment for entrepreneurship and innovation that will extend for a period of 22 months.
