During the first day, the European expert referred to the new concepts and paradigms in this area, and a display meaning and construction of tourism in La Araucanía. The second day was devoted to the issues, "Tourism and local development", "Destination Management" and "Challenges to operate destinations." Finally, the third day was devoted to the formulation of a tourism development plan and establish roles and commitments of those attending the event.
